Mystery Girl, 2023

"I have these recurring memories of this girl in a wooded cemetery. I’ve had them for a long time. I don’t know if she’s from dreams, something I watched when I was little, or maybe even a past life. I picture her walking towards a tree. It’s a foggy autumn day. She has long black hair. I can’t picture her face at all. She’s wearing a long trench coat, some sort of dress or skirt, and boots. I don’t know why she’s walking towards a tree. What is she looking for? What is she looking at? Why is she here? I’ve had memories of her having a picnic in this location. I’ve had memories of her with a boy, maybe her partner? I don’t know who she is but I want to. The location and atmosphere reminds me of the Lovely Bones. But I don’t think she came from there. They lay deeper within my subconscious. They existed sooner. Where did she come from? Who is this mystery girl? Who is she."
